Thanks to newine's referral, I discovered this blog. The Berkowitz videos are fascinating. I had read that he became born again, but his conversion was dismissed as inauthentic.
Having seen for myself the changed Berkowitz in these videos, I believe he did undergo repentance and conversion. Clearly, there was something not quite "right" about Berkowitz as a child -- his temper tantrums and especially love of the dark and of darkness -- which made him vulnerable to his later turn to full-fledged Satanism and, I believe, demonic possession.
Berkowitz's story is a warning to everyone that Satan and demons are real, but God's mercy and love are infinite. Until we die, there is hope for even the worst among us.
Amen! Thank you for your comment. Demonic oppression is alive and well and is often underestimated by the Church. Knowing and understanding demonic oppression is kind of like having an illness diagnosed at the Doctors office. If your ailment has a name and is known there is likely a treatment. Once we know that demonic oppression is attacking not only the unsaved but the saved as well, we are able to study what Jesus said about it and how we are to handle it. So many are oppressed I pray that the church will learn to recognize it and that it has already been defeated, all we have to do is declare it in the name of Jesus. David Berkowitz is a great example of the love and forgiveness of Jesus and that none are beyond his reach.
I WILL BLESS THOSE WHO BLESS YOU, AND CURSE THOSE WHO CURSE YOU GENESIS 12:3
There are so many great videos and clips, made by some very talented followers of Jesus. I have been so moved by the music and testimonies that I wanted to share them collectively in a forum which glorifies God and speaks directly to the souls of the listening, watching, reading audience. Many times with our unbelieving friends and loved ones, we have but a brief moment or couple of minutes to share Jesus with them before they lose interest or cut us off. My blog is just about sharing the gospel in that brief moment, making a statement, praying that something will strike a chord in the hearts of the unsaved.
My committment is first to the Lord, I do this as unto him. He will supply an audience. I thank you for your comments and will be posting regularly, so add yourself as a follower and keep checking in. Thank you for your support. God Bless you and Keep you always. Kara

Wow! This is a tremendous story... a great reminder that we would not wish hell on our worst enemy, and that we need to pray for EVERYONE.
